Dogs and cats have a special place in my heart. I used to have a Lab-Retriever mix dog named Max-A-Million. Max found me at an auction I went to over 6 years ago. He was only 2 months old then and what a “chicks boy”. He stared at me, I came close to check him out and he wouldn’t let me go. I guess he had a “love at first sight”. I ended up snuggling him through the entire auction and it was difficult to just leave him. Made me believe that “love at first sight” does happen. We instantly connected so I asked the man if he can include the dog in the auction and maybe I could buy him. The man said that the puppy obviously loves me so he will let me have the puppy if I want. That was a happy day! I ended up taking the puppy home that day and he’s my best friend for almost 3 years until someone, I believe, stole him 🥺. When I tell people our story, people would tell me that dogs are very good judge of character and that they supposed to see and feel the inside of a person like they can see anything in a really dark night. I am so honored of this and if this is a lie hahaha I don’t want to be told the truth. I love the boy! I have a kitten too named Mingming. She got left by her owners when they moved. I have been her mommy since she was 3 months old. She’s two years old now a very sweet one. I have always wanted to find my one, true love and it’s unfortunate that this world doesn’t have a magic wand to help you find just that the first time. You find good people but not necessarily the right ones and you end up getting hurt. Your faith gets tarnished and it’s ok. I am a believer in second chances, of fate and destiny, that those who persevere in their search will ultimately find what they are looking for.
