Hello, I'm Jennifer—a warm-hearted and energetic woman who believes that life is meant to be lived fully, with purpose and joy. I was born in Shanghai in 1962 into a military family, and moved to Beijing with my family at the age of six. That blend of southern grace and northern resilience has shaped who I am today. I began my career in banking after high school while pursuing further studies. In 1994, I moved to Canada, where I later graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa with a diploma in Business Accounting. After returning to China in 2000, I spent many rewarding years working with a Hong Kong-based listed company, holding senior management roles across Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, South America, Shanghai, and Tianjin. In 2017, I chose to step away from my career to care for my aging parents—a decision I've never regretted. After they passed away, I settled back in Beijing before finally moving to Ottwa for retirement. I'm a naturally disciplined and positive person. Friends describe me as kind, open-hearted, and full of life. I love staying active—running 5 kilometers every morning, hiking, swimming, skiing, and practicing yoga keep me energized. I also find great joy in cooking and sharing delicious meals with people I care about. When I want to slow down, I lose myself in a good book. I hold Canadian permanent residency and am open to building a new life abroad, though I'm happy to see where a genuine connection leads.
