I have lived life to the fullest, learning new exciting things, adventures and traveled. It’s like the poem by Chief Tecumseh says “So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. The poem is very lengthy, so you will have to google and read it in its entirety, it’s well worth reading. In my lifetime I’ve watch the sunrise over Mount Fuji and watched it sink slowly in the waters of the Caribbean from a pier in Key West seen Stromboli erupt and the lava flow to the sea, northern lights just to mention a few. Now, I’m back to San Antonio and near my family after retiring as a senior manager from the Army Corps of Engineers and a paralleling military (active and reserve) career. I love traveling to new exciting places, a good movie, theater, cooking, dancing, outdoor and water activities. Did I mention I've just returned from an extended vacation in Europe Italy, Greece, France, Spain, Portugal and transatlantic to NYC? In April I'm off to Israel and Turkey then in June back to Barcelona. I enjoy the simple things in life such as my grandchildren, thunderstorm, foggy morning, gentle rain or a cool sea breeze. I have great friends and loving family and all I lack is someone special to share it with. So now you have the opportunity to meet a midcentury classic in excellent health and physical condition. My paternal grandparents were mango farmers in south Dade county, Florida and my maternal grandparents owned and operated a hardware store in Gainesville, Florida. I believe that there are many things going on in this world that we know nothing about...which is kind of frustrating. I love mushrooms, olives and peppers. I love the intense curiosity of dogs and the distrustful ambivalence of cats. I was an unhappy teen. I don't know if ghosts are real but I love a good ghost story. I loved the sound of Leonard Nimoys voice. I never understood what people loved so much about Frank Sinatras voice. I love the movie Taxi Driver but I no longer identify closely with Travis Bickle. I love the rain. I miss the rain. I have never enjoyed watching a single soccer or "European Football" game in my life. I am not condemning it. I just don't care to see it. I like forests but they creep me out. I was blessed with good parents both of whom I miss. I suffer from anxiety and removed my wisdom teeth myself. I like vegetables, candy and cake. I love Edvard Munch and I posed personally for his painting "The Scream." I love the Rolling Stones. I want to travel more. Once my car broke down in Louisiana and I was helped by the kindest people I have ever met. I've been to the Mohave Desert in southern California and the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. I like modern art but I don't possess a great deal of knowledge about it. I am not religious but I have a spiritual side. I distrust anyone who hates squirrels. I've seen Bob Dylan in concert! Twice!! I think peace of mind is very important. I like to quietly dissappear into the background and observe.
