Seems 90% of the Profiles on this garbage site are fake/scammers A couple of years ago, I was sitting in my living room having a heart-to-heart with a dear friend about the insane, treacherous, elusive, intense and often funny world of dating. After sharing stories, giving advice and listening to her discontent, it hit me– An idea began in the back of my head that night, but my world changed shortly after that evening, and I forgot all about it. I went on my first date with Mrs. Brick Red, and we fell into an amazing relationship. Well, I thought it was amazing until it ended. After happily spending more than a year out of the dating game, I was not looking forward to getting back into it. Here I am faced with nothing but first dates. I began to desire to evolve past my heartbreak and forge out new experiences, new love and find someone who is ready to commit and believe in a lifetime of love. FYI My profile expires in 2 days, and I am not renewing. Which brings me here.... Now, a little more about me: Sometimes I don't even know where to begin, I'm not very good talking about myself. I have a lot of hobbies, I'm pretty easy to please, so thankfully I don't get bored easily. Love working my house yard, hanging out with friends, I don't smoke, and I drink socially and even then it's maybe one glass of mine or beer. Love movies, my favorite month is October and I love Halloween. I decorate my house every year and scare the kids like crazy, lol. They love it though. I'm not much of a risk-taker. I'm not a coward and will try most things once, but jumping out of planes is not one of them. I like the subtle things in life, mostly. I can be active or laid back depending on the day and what's going on/planned. Furthermore, I do love nature and walking in nature when I can. Nature being the lake closest to me, which is White Rock. I go to white rock a lot, love hiking through the woods there. Would be a better experience to share with someone. Love fishing also. Sitting on a pier fishing and just laying back on the pier talking with someone, holding hands is a plus as well. I can be nerdy yet mature. As I said before, I can be a kid sometimes, but know where to draw the line. I like going to comic cons, some conventions and then that evening having a romantic dinner with wine talking the night away. I love making people laugh, I try to make people laugh as often as I can. It's better for a conversation and determines how a day/night will go. It's a great icebreaker and once you are comfortable with someone then it is easier to talk to that person and that could be the beginning of a great friendship and possibly more! I'm also a student of history, love it and read when I can. Mostly ancient history. I can enjoy fast night and slow nights. Sitting on the sofa or in bed watching movies etc or out enjoying a nice candle lit dinner or even getting messy with crawfish and a giant napkin tucked in to my shirt. Reasonably reliable and somewhat OCD. I have a personality to fit moods and thankfully my moods are sleepy, happy, surprised and relaxed. I hate roller coasters and heights, but slowing overcoming those. I love horror, I have about a million books about horror and E-books to go with them. Love horror movies and sometimes volunteer in haunted houses during October if time permits. I have a few tattoos, but most (except one) are in good taste I speak and understand some Arabic, since I'm half Lebanese/German. Also, poor Spanglish.
