Indoors or outdoors we will find things to laugh and talk about. Outside, I am an excellent fisherman having so far caught a turtle, trees and having my bait stolen by crabs. Really glad I fish to be near the water and not because I am hungry. Also outdoors, I enjoy going to the range where I generally hit what I aim at. I almost forgot the beach which is certainly my happy place. At night, I love a good hang by a bonfire with some friends and a few drinks. If the sun is hiding, I enjoy puzzles, lego, reading, listening to music and playing drums. My favorite type of music is progressive heavy metal. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Rush being my favorites. Then again, is there anything better than a rum drink in the islands listening to Reggae? Also the blues, resonate with me. Might be easier to say any music with harmonies. Road trips are a favorite activity, It is a great chance to enjoy each other while we see some nice scenery and maybe end up at an unexpected destination. Nights spent at home are also great, especially when there is a comfy couch, bad TV and someone to share them with. Especially if we are sharing a blanket and holding each other. Travel wise, I am more of a beach or National Parks person. I can do cities but given a preference, I avoid concrete. I have been to Europe and The Louvre was a stand out for me and Ireland was great. I am a conservative politically but love to hear other viewpoints and am able to disagree without being disagreeable. I think that the ability to listen to other points of view is a skill we have lost and I am trying to help its return. Learning why someone you respect thinks something can sometimes sway your previously held opinion.
