ABOUT ME: Free spirit but down to Earth, wide range of interests, educated. And thousands of women who tried this dream already, only to find out that their knight sooner or later was fed up with this role game and left, or they themselves realized that the fairytale princess life is not as fulfilling in reality. I am glad that the days of the knights and princesses are gone, with all their role restrictions. Why am I here, then ? Surely not looking for that classic deal: beauty for money, even though I have the impression that many of the profiles here aim exactly this: women offering themselves as a beautiful decoration and entertainment against a promise of comfort and luxury. So if your profile tells that you look for a wealthy, generous gentleman willing to sponsor you a life with a lot of time spent in front of mirrors, at hairdressers, in beauty parlors and with shopping: don´t waste your and my time. Instead, I hope for just one of those few women on this website, who have found out for themselves, that this princess-and-knight-game is just a fairy tale and that a relationship based on equality in most parts of life is far more interesting and exciting. Of course there are some differences between men and women – and this can be extremely nice and fulfilling in sexuality. But why should we turn these nice differences into a restricting rule book for all other parts of life, demanding that men should do this and this, and women should not do this and this ? Turning life into the prison of a permanent role game ? And definitely, I do not buy a woman. Sexuality is great, but as a mutual play, enjoyed by both. Not as something to be bought and where claims are to be fulfilled. For sure, I dislike prostitution, inside or outside a relationship. I like country life: its closeness to nature, its ease and peace, the social closeness of the village, its safety – also for children. This does not exclude visits to towns and cities, as well (and here in Germany, usually the next town or city with the offers of city life is not far away). I like being out in nature and the garden. Meet friends. Visit historic sites. Volunteering in the community. Stay informed about sciences, politics. An ice-cream in a pretty market place, having a nice meal in a restaurant. Maybe a cinema visit or a concert ? Clearly, I dislike status thinking: I have a big but simple and cosy house in the countryside - to live in it, not to impress others. It is surrounded by a big, semi-wild orchard garden and hedges - for enjoying country life and not for participating in any competition for the most sterile lawn. And cars are for me for transport and for getting safely from A to B, not status symbols. Travel is for me first of all for seeing, experiencing, learning – and not for spending time and money on luxury resorts. Accordingly, my lady should not be too dependent on status thinking and luxury, but rather focussed on living and doing something together with me (but also having some own interests). Financially, I am fairly secure, but not interested in a very materialistic life. I like to achieve things in life, take some challenges, but in a relaxed way. My work in the Arctic has taught me that one should take things and opportunities as they come, not wasting life time and energy on unnecessary fighting. And I like children – my daughter of course (born in 2004, her mother died in 2012, so I was a single father for a long period, though with good help from our nice social network here in the village), but also other children, I volunteered for instance as assistant teacher for some Syrian and later Ukrainian refugee kids with a few hours per week. As I work in polar tourism, I spend about 5 months of the year on travelling (split into several assignments), but the remaining more than half year (split into several periods), I am mostly at home.
