How can I add a photo if I don't have a photo already scanned?

Most internet cafes and many photocopying centers have scanners where you can scan a photo cheaply. (Make sure you bring a floppy disk for them to save the scan and ask them to save it as a .jpg image saved as your member number .jpg. For example if your member number is 1234, then save your photo as "1234.jpg"). You can then attach it to an email using the instructions on this page.

Alternatively, if you don't have access to a scanner then we will scan a photo for you for free and post it on your profile. Please remember to include your name and Member Number with your photo. Please note that we are unable to return your photo unless you include a self addressed envelope and the correct Australian postage. Photos should be sent to:

Sending a photo is very easy, just click here to automatically send us your photo.

If you have problems sending your photo directly to us you can also email it to us by following the instructions below.

1. Scan a photo and save it on your desktop on your computer in .jpg format (save it as MemberNumber.jpg)
2. Log on to your e-mail provider's web site (eg Hotmail etc) and compose a new message
3. Click on the attach button
4. Click on the "Browse file" button
5. Select the file that you used to save the photo (if you saved it to desktop, look in desktop)
6. Press attach (this might take up to 1 or 2 minutes depending on how fast your Internet connection is)
7. In the subject line and message field specify your name and Member Number
8. Send the message to photos@InternationalCupid.com
9. After we have received your photo we will review it and then post it into your profile as soon as possible (normally within 48 hours)

How can I use a photo that I already have on the internet?

If you already have a photo placed on the Internet then all you have to do is give us the URL address (the address that begins with http://www.....) and we can collect your photo. Alternately, you can go to your photo then right click on the photo and then select save as (your member number.jpg), then follow the instructions for emailing the photo.

What format should my photo be in?

For best results save your photo as a jpeg image (.jpg file extension). For example if your member number is 1234, then save your photo as "1234.jpg".
